As our daily lives continue to be transformed by the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19), Healthy Relationships Iowa continues to adapt to ways that serve our participants and communities with quality education in a healthy and safe environment.

HRI is taking the following steps to maintain its healthy environment:

  • Limited Size

We will continue to schedule and hold Healthy Relationships and Heathy Marriage seminars but limit them to no more than 10 individuals, including Instructor.

  • Cleanliness

Our educational locations are cleaned according to a schedule, with additional cleanings to high- touch surfaces like metal surfaces, door handles, tables, desks, and chairs. Hand sanitizing options are available for participant use.

  • Precautions

We ensure that our Instructors will practice COVID-19 precautions, including the practice of frequent handwashing, use of various sanitizing products, and social distancing protocols in classrooms.

  • Recommended Procedures

In accordance with both CDC and community health department guidance, HRI Instructors will follow these COVID-19 procedures in classroom activities.

  • Service Offerings May Change

As the COVID-19 evolves, locations may implement additional preventative measures. These measures could impact our service offerings, but our quality skills-based instruction involving stress reduction, conflict resolution, communication skills, goal setting and others will remain strong and caring; healthy relational fitness skills for life!
